Sledding?

I took Joshua sledding today behind Nana’s house (Kristin’s Mom). There is a perfect hill for a little boy to sled with his father.
Nice and long, but not too steep. So you go, but not fast.
Half way through the time I wondered... Who is enjoying sledding most?

1. The 18 month child who giggles when going down the hill 3 times then is distracted for 15 minutes by the sound of a train?

Or

2. The father who drove all over town looking for the perfect sled who keeps insisting we “Do it again.”

It was probably the father... Me.
And it was fun!

Joshua, do you want to go again?!?

Joshua and Santa Clause

Joshua went to see Santa Clause at the local zoo. He loved seeing Santa from a distance, but up close he wanted to be in Mommy's arms. But Santa and Joshua exchanged "high fives" and smiles.

Afterwards we did some crafts... Joshua was excited and was caught making this funny face.

Joshua Christmas Photos

Kristin took Joshua to get some Christmas photos taken... we think we have a CUTE kid!

Joshua Reads to Miles

Miles came over to hang while mom and dad caught a couple of movies, so Joshua decided to "read" his favorite book about trucks to Miles.

FYI//
Joshua is doing the hand motions that I (Matt) taught him to do. He goes "brrrrrrrr" and shakes his hands up and down when he sees a truck and "oooo-e oooo-e" moving his wrist when he sees a fire truck.

Starbuck Marketing Church Style

"This is what I am going to do... I am going to send out a direct mailer, and I am sure our attendance is going to double, and it's going to change everything."

I got a kick out of this video, and some of the things are so true, like church direct mail.
