Swim Bug

We gave a little swimmer on our hands. Last week we took Joshua to the pool again and, as always, he loved it.

He loves to go down this little white slide for toddlers over and over and over.

2 man band

Joshua recruited a new member to his band. Everytime the song comes on, which is fairly common, Susannah gets excited and now starts to play along!

We did it!

Last Christmas, unbeknownst to her, I set a goal to run a half marathon with my wife. After months of training and pushing the kids in a double jogging stroller WE DID IT!!!

Yesterday we ran the Chicago Rock and Roll Half Marathon!

I am so proud of Kristin for running! 

We got 15,005th and 15,006th place.

It was hard, but worth it.

Uncle Jim's Trains

As many of you know Joshua loves trains right now... but his love for trains is dwarfed by Kristin's Uncle Jim.

We spent a couple of days in Austin, TX visiting Kristin's Cousin (Melanie) and her kids (Jim's Grandkids).

He brought a portion of his train collection and set it up outside for the kids to play with. JT loved it.
