Hola Mateo,
I too am doing a study of the names for God, to know God's main names and attributes so that I can reflect Him better as His image and likeness. Isn't that a marvelous divine inheritance for all of God's kids?
Do tell the little ones of God as their Father-Mother Love, their divine Parent. The biblical authority for this is in John 4:16 where John declares that "God is Love." Love is not just a quality of God, it is God Itself. This love includes both Father and Mother Love, the divine completeness and these children can never be separated from that divine Love that parents us all for eternity.
I love the work you're doing at Casa Viva and commend you for it. Big blessings are yours for this holy work.
With Christly love,
Carmie

Dear Carmie,
Thanks for your comments... I have done some reading and research.
1 // There is no doubt that one of God's primary characteristics is love. He loves far beyond our ability to comprehend. I see love more as an action than a title. I have heard "Lover of my Soul" as a title for God, but this phrase does not appear in the Bible. That verse you quoted, John 4:16 is a powerful verse and we can rest in God's love each and every day.
2 // God reveals himself to us through his living and active Word: the Bible. There is no doubt that God has created each of us, Male and Female, in His very own image. Therefore there are attributes of God that are seen in Male and Female individuals, however I rely firmly on the Bible, not the waves of theology, to drive my view of God. And the Bible does not use female pronouns to describe who God is. So referring to God as "Mother Love" cannot be a name of the God who is described in the Christian Bible.
